Edward W. Hardig (email) received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1961, and earned his B.S. from Notre Dame cum laude in 1958.

Ed practices in the areas of real estate, business, estate planning, and probate administration. He is a member of the St. Joseph County Bar Association, where he is a past chair of the Business Organizations and Probate and Real Estate Sections. Ed is also a member of the Indiana State and American Bar Associations.

Ed served as a captain in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1964 to 1968, where he worked as a judge advocate general. Prior to that time, Ed served as a deputy prosecuting attorney in St. Joseph County from 1963 to 1964.

In 2006, Ed was inducted as a Fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation.

Michael J. Anderson (email) received his law degree from Valparaiso University in 1982, and his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1977.

Mike practices in the areas of personal injury litigation, medical malpractice litigation, and real estate transactions.

Mike is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Mike is a member of the Robert A. Grant Inn of Court, an organization of trial lawyers dedicated to improving skills and maintaining high ethical standards in the legal profession. Mike is also a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and is a Fellow of the Indiana Bar Association (1995 to present). In addition, Mike is a member of the St. Joseph County Bar Association, where he has served in various offices and on the Board of Governors since 1997. In addition to serving on the board of his homeowners' association, Mike served as a member of the Merit Board of the St. Joseph County Police Department. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Equal Justice Fund.

Peter J. Agostino (email) received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School, graduating cum laude in 1986. Pete also received his B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Notre Dame, graduating magna cum laude in 1983.

Pete practices in the areas of municipal law, personal injury litigation, employment litigation, products liability litigation, and civil rights litigation. He is admitted to practice in Indiana, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Pete serves the people of St. Joseph County by representing the County in employment matters and by representing the St. Joseph County Sheriff and St. Joseph County Police Department.

Pete is a member of the Robert A. Grant Inn of Court and the St. Joseph County Bar Association. Pete also serves on the Pastoral Council at Christ the King Catholic Church in South Bend, and was inducted as a Fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation in 2006.

Scott M. Keller (email) received his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana, in 1988, and his undergraduate degree in management from Purdue University, where he graduated with honors. Prior to joining the firm in May of 2000, Scott was a partner in the South Bend office of Barnes & Thornburg, where he practiced in the area of construction law, commercial law, real estate and creditorsÕ rights. While at Barnes & Thornburg, Scott chaired the Construction Law Practice Group in 1999 and 2000.

Scott continues to practice in the areas of construction law, commercial law, real estate, and creditors rights. Scott is admitted to practice in Indiana as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

Scott has been active in the St. Joseph County Bar Association, where he has served as the chair of the Young Lawyers Section, a member of the Board of Governors, and President in 1998. Scott has been a fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation since 1997.

Scott has also been heavily involved with the Indiana High School Mock Trial Program since 1993, serving as the attorney coach for the Mishawaka Marian High School and New Prarie teams and on the Executive Committee of the Indiana High School Mock Trial program.

Scott also has served on the Advisory Board of the Thomas N. Frederick Juvenile Justice Center in South Bend, as well as on the Board of Directors for LaSalle Park Homes.

Bernard E. Edwards, Jr. (email) received his law degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1985, and earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1979. Bernie is admitted to practice in Indiana and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

Bernie practices in the areas of estate planning and appellate practice.

Bernie is actively involved with the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, a national competition for young musicians.

William L. Wilson (email) received his law degree from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis in 1991, and his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1988.

Bill is admitted to practice in Indiana, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the Northern District of Illinois (including Trial Bar), the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Bill practices in the areas of civil litigation, family law, copyright and trade secrets/unfair competition (see Indiana Trade Secrets Law. In addition, Bill represents the St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office in asset forfeiture cases.

In May of 2004, Bill completed a forty-hour training program in family law mediation, and has therefore become a certified family law mediator. He also publishes the Indiana Family Law Blog, a web log dealing with a wide range of family law issues in Indiana.

Bill is a member of the American (member, Family Law and Litigation Sections), Indiana State (member, Family Law section), and St. Joseph County Bar Associations (member, Board of Governors and co-chair, Mentoring and Lawyers Assistance Committee), as well as the Robert A. Grant Inn of Court.

Bill is an adjunct assistant professor at the Department of Film, Television and Theatre at the University of Notre Dame, where he teaches Entertainment Law. In addition, Bill has appeared as a faculty member at continuing legal education programs, including "The 103rd Congress and Civil Liberties," "Internet Basics for Indiana Attorneys," and "Internet Law in Indiana."

Bill is actively involved with the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana, where he served on the Board of Directors from 1992 until 2006, including two years as president of the corporation. Bill has also been active with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of St. Joseph County. He and his wife, Catherine, attend Little Flower Catholic Church in South Bend.

Julianne R. Parish (email) received her law degree from Thomas Cooley Law School in 1996, and her B.S. degree from Indiana University. Julianne practices in the area of civil litigation. She is admitted to practice in Indiana and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

While in law school, Julianne participated in moot court, trial advocacy, and trial workshops. She was also the editor of the Michigan Opinion Notes in the Michigan Bar Journal.

Julianne is a member of the American, Indiana State, and St. Joseph County Bar Associations.

Julianne also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Davenport College where she teaches Employment Law.

Loris P. Zappia (email) received his law degree from Thomas Cooley Law School in 1993, and earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1989. After spending several years in private practice, Loris joined the St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office as a deputy prosecutor, where he continues to serve today. Loris joined Anderson, Agostino & Keller in 2002. Loris is a member of the St. Joseph County, Indiana State, and American Bar Associations, as well as the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. In addition, Loris is a member of the National Association of Drug Court Professionals and on the St. Joseph County Drug Court Advisory Board.

Maggie M. Chipman (email) received her law degree from the Valparaiso University Law School in 1982. Maggie earned her undergraduate degree in history from the University of Michigan in 1977.

Maggie practices in the area of medical malpractice litigation. During her legal career, Maggie has represented health care facilities and medical professionals defending malpractice claims. She is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.

In her many years of experience, Maggie has developed and presented many risk management training programs for health care professionals, including an innovative "Anatomy of a Lawsuit" seminar that taught purely by the presentation of live vignettes, culminating in a mock trial at the University of Notre Dame.

Maggie is a member of the St. Joseph County and Indiana State Bar Associations. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Conservatory of Dance Company, Inc., and is the former marketing director for the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra. She has also served on the Parish Pastoral Council at St. Jude Parish and St. Michael Parish. In addition, Maggie has had the distinction of being appointed by Congressman John Hiler to the Military Service Academy Nomination Board. Maggie has also served on the boards of various pro-life organizations.

Sean M. Surrisi (email) received his law degree from the Valparaiso University School of Law in 2005 and his undergraduate degree in art from DePauw University in 1999.

Sean practices in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury litigation. He is admitted to practice in Indiana, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Sean is a member of the American, Indiana State, and St. Joseph County Bar Associations.

Sean resides in Culver, Indiana with his wife Janette and daughter Abigail.

Mark F. James (email) received his law degree from Valparaiso University in 1985 and his B.S. from Purdue University in 1982.

Mark is admitted to practice in Indiana, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He practices in the areas of family law, juvenile law, personal injury, estate planning and probate administration.

In June of 2005, Mark completed a forty-hour training program in family law mediation, and has therefore become a certified family law member. He is also the chairperson of the Family Law Committee of the St. Joseph County Bar Association.

Mark is a member of the Indiana State (member, Family Law Section) and St. Joseph County Bar Associations.

Mark and his wife, Lisa, and their three children attend St. Jude Catholic Church in South Bend.

Gaylen W. Allsop (email) received his law degree from Indiana University in Bloomington in 1968 after earning his A.B from the same institution. He practices in the areas of corporations and business, estates, and real estate.
